THANK YOU to the St. Paul’s congregation for putting your kindness and generosity into action for Rally Day Fall 2020! My personal spirit and hope for better times ahead were renewed seeing not only the contributions pouring in during this particular year but also from seeing so many smiling eyes above masked faces on a gorgeous September day.
With your contributions we were able to donate several large boxes of much needed school supplies to the Overbrook Educational Center and collected $175 in monetary gifts. We also delivered several full carloads of food to the Ardmore Food Pantry. In addition to non-perishable food, we also collected $100 in monetary gifts for the food pantry. We also collected $275 for Caring for Friends.
Thank you for your efforts during Rally Day and for sharing your “God’s Work, Our Hands” selfies that are included throughout the Chimes. If you would like to continue to contribute, please consider preparing a meal or several for Caring for Friends and dropping them off at the St. Paul’s shed freezer any time. Meal prep directions can be found at this link:
As Dr. Seuss tells us, “Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
nothing is going to get better. It’s not.” Thank you for caring enough to keep
hope for something better alive!
